More webpage updates!
Last night I took at look at my work-related webpage and realized I hadn’t updated it since November 2004, so decided to fix it up a bit. Updated my resume there and put a little note saying that I was currently looking for a job. I also decided that it was time for that horrible picture of me to go! So this morning I got all spruced up in shirt and tie and had my sister take some new photographs of me. A couple actually turned out ok, so I added them to the site. Some of them were really funny also … who knew that I made so many silly expressions and crazy looks. lol.
I also did some updates here on the blog site. Put a picture in my profile, added some of these new pics to my flickr applet. I also linked to my work web page on the right since I seem to have a few old colleges visiting now curious about what I’ve been working on. And for all those people who always say that they never know what to get me for Christmas … I made a wishlist and posted it at froogle! haha! No excuses now. 
I don’t really expect anything of course, but what the heck - it’s there if you want it.
There are a few things I would really like though … like the computer parts listed there. I’m trying to build a new computer for the kids and need a case, psu, and hard drive at least. I got a great deal/gift from a couple that I play video games with online - they sent me a motherboard, AMD Athlon 1333mhx CPU+fan, and 256mb ram. And they did it just for the cost of shipping, which was under 11$ US. Thanks to Claudius and Messilinda! Kids will be overjoyed when i’m done putting it together … now they can stop fighting over whose turn it is to use my sister’s computer and freely feed their neopets and IM their friends. lol. Little internet addicts like the rest of the people in the house. The other big thing I need is a WATCH! I’ve had the same crappy timex watch now for 15 years or more. It’s pretty banged up, difficult to set because buttons are pushed in, and the backlighting no longer works .. which was really annoying to me during my hospital stay, having to turn light on just to find the time - thus waking up the entire room. This Timex expedition one I found looks perfect for me, I’m gonna buy it myself after xmas if Santa can’t find it.
